In 1985 Quail Valley opened for business. The Park was just a desert with plotted spaces and hookups. There were no trees, bushes, or any kind of greenery - just sand and gravel. But the original settlers had a vision and started purchasing spaces. The spaces were leased for a 100 year term from the land owner.
The Quail Valley Association was formed to bring governance to the Park as it grew. Each purchaser became a member and contributed to its governance. Thus began the self-governed park, represented by a Board of Directors made up of members who were elected to serve and represent our Park and its members.
The Park started taking shape as the membership grew. Members planted trees, built walls, fountains, garden plots, and helped their neighbors develop their spaces.
The Park as it exists today is a result of the vision of those early settlers. It is because of them and their community involvement that the tradition continues.
When you see the wonderful features of our Park you get the feeling that this is a pretty beautiful and amazing resort for your enjoyment. However it is because of our members taking an active role in running the park that keeps our Park running smoothly and looking good.
All of our members have something to contribute and by pooling their skills, knowledge and expertise our Park is well run and still affordable.
